Wimbledon (despite the time difference) has gone as high as over 3m (metro) I believe, back when Nine had rights, I think early 2000s with Hewitt? So tennis, as we’ve seen with the Aus Open, can go cataclysmic if the right specific ingredients are there. But that goes with any major sport event I guess

Is it just me, or is the picture quality sharper tonight on the coverage? It seems clear and less blocky. Is this the start of the second HD channel?
Could it be related to this?
Here in Melbourne, 9Gem is as blocky as before. Do I need to rescan my TV?
Didn’t watch the replay of the 2015 Cricket World CUp match between Australia and NZ in Auckland and I would have thought that Michael Slater was in New Zealand called the match. Who were the commentators for the AUS v NZ?

Cricket looks awesome on HD, fair bit of glitching though but that would probably be just the TV.
9Gem HD is running at 4.9 with the cricket compared to 9HD with 4.1
