Will be interesting to see any change in Ch 13’s prime time shares, especially key demos. @TV.Cynic can I politely ask how had Shake’s key demos fared, broadly speaking?

10 Shake gets higher shares in the demos than in total people but still ranks towards the bottom. It usually ranks ahead of 7Two and 7Bravo in key demos at equal with 9Rush.

So switching to Nickelodeon could send it down to 7Bravo levels. 
I thought 7bravo was actually going pretty good lol I should take another look.
10 Shake’s stated demo was 0-40. Not sure what the new channel will be but probably similar.
Nickelodeon obviously won’t be available via broadcast in Northern NSW, so younger viewers in Newcastle, Tamworth, Taree, Coffs and Lismore who don’t want to watch Nickelodeon on 10Play will have to make do with 9GO!'s kids block, ABC Kids and ABC ME

Most if not all Smart TVs have 10play (and all the other Aus. BVOD apps) pre-installed, just need an email and you would have access to Nickelodeon everywhere.
If you don’t have wifi, the current FTA kids channels may be enough for most viewers though imo those channels lost alot of big name shows to Foxtel which then came back when 10Shake launched in late 2020.
Also I am pretty sure 9Go’s kids block (9Go! Kids) is pretty much non-existant nowadays aside from the weekends. Even on weekdays after 3pm, the channel is mostly old sitcom reruns (The Nanny, I Dream Of Jeannie, Bewitched, etc).

Apologies if I’ve missed this but what is happening in New Zealand given their version of Nickelodeon was a time shifted version of the Aussie channel?

It’s remaining on Sky in NZ and won’t be going free to air.

It’ll probably switch to the Fetch TV feed. Fetch won’t close down Nickelodeon either.

Is 10Shake not on Foxtel? I seem to have 10, Bold and Peach. But no Shake?
They’ve slacked off in giving new FTA channels numbers, no 9Rush or 7Bravo either. The new HD versions of 7Mate and 9Gem took a while to get channel numbers too. They’ll point you to the streaming apps though (except for 7Bravo, the iQs don’t have 7Plus).
Today is the last day of 10Shake 
So many memories. Like rebranding it to Nickelodeon. Can’t think of any other memories.
In a few weeks time. the topic will revert to the odd post here and there. lol.

Not a fan that they’ve just slapped the 10 play logo a the bottom of the screen, would be wise IMO for them to add some context like “Stream or catch up” otherwise it’s just two competing brands / services and we know how fickle free tv audiences can be.
