Just saw a “Saturday Flick Night” promo for 10 Shake, highlighting various re-runs from 10’s deals with Disney, Roadshow and Paramount.
nope
your tuner mustn’t support MPEG 4. Most of the newer channels and some of the HD ones now use this.
EDIT: Sorry just noticed TV Cynic had already mentioned this.
yeah its pretty old but still weird it picks up all these extra channels as they have standard and HD options. My TV will probably pick it up. havent tried that yet
The code of practice was updated by Free TV Australia in 2015. “AV15+” no longer exists as a classification on TV and was replaced by MA15+, bringing into being a similar system as film. No FTA television station should be using the AV15+ marking anymore. 10’s markings appear to follow the markings for film, hence the red MA… I thought 7 and 9 were similar too.
Also, since that update, programs below a PG rating don’t have to display a classification rating - so the fact that you’re mentioning a G/C/P rating being displayed is odd in general these days.
I was wondering if i uninstall the 10play app on the Apple TV , and reinstall would 10shake appear in the livestream channels? I don’t want to uninstall as i may lose where i’m up to with a show im watching.
Edit :Nope no luck . Is it simple to add another live channel to Apple TV?

Channel Launch Also Includes New ‘Shake Takes’ Multi-platform Ad Format.
Network 10 today announced four major sponsors supporting the launch of its new free-to-air channel, 10 Shake. They are VTech, Toyworld, Spin Master and The Accent Group.
10 Shake, which launched on Channel 13 on Sunday 27 September, is firmly focused on people under 40 and broadcasts kids content during the day ageing up into young adult content during prime time.
The new channel harnesses the power of ViacomCBS’ global library of content and features iconic shows such as PAW Patrol , Blaze And The Monster Machines , SpongeBob SquarePants , iCarly , Henry Danger , Catfish: The TV Show , Just Tattoo Of Us , The Daily Show With Trevor Noah and The Late Late Show with James Corden .
Network 10’s National Sales Director Lisa Squillace said: “10 Shake has strengthened our offering and extended the scale we can provide brands targeting kids and youth.
“With a strong line-up of iconic shows appealing to those under 40, we’re thrilled to be welcoming VTech, Toyworld, Spin Master and The Accent Group to the 10 Shake family.”
The launch of 10 Shake also saw the launch of Shake Takes , integratable bite-sized breaks which see young influencers delve into everything new and exciting including going behind-the scenes on some of the best new movies, experiencing real life immersion opportunities and showing off the newest toys, gadgets, fashion and footwear.
Shake Takes are produced and presented in the style of user-generated social videos and sharable across platforms.
Lisa continued: “With Shake Takes , we’re really leaning into our target audience by giving brands the opportunity to immerse themselves into the demographic not just through linear integrations but also real-life integrations. It’s a fantastic initiative, an Australian-first and one brands have responded really well to.”

“Ready Player One” (2018) FTA premiere on 10 Shake this Saturday night. Licenced by Roadshow (who Nine have had a long-time output with and have always had the first runs during that time except for a couple very recently).
Looks like 10 outbid them for these one-off rights, just like “Oceans 8” the other month.
Considering the channel just launched and the extremely low share last night, this movie might need to be encored / re-run a few times to get value on the acquisition.
I think pushing to actual high appeal shows like this and not the channels overall weak lineup is a better strategy
Didn’t think they would be getting new South Park given the promos the last few weeks have only used clips from 15 years ago.
Ok, so there’s a start, the 10play appletv app has finally been updated with the option of 10shake live
10 Shake is on there …yay :)… is the pic quality the same though as the broadcast version looks like it is?
Also is Tosh .0 from the very beginning? Why is it in 4:3 ?
Also odd just got a flash of an ad for chips before it showed the ad for Ex on the beach.
Does Ten have any shows from Fox? I wonder if they could get repeat rights to Bob’s Burgers from Foxtel? . There are 77 eps of Bojack, perhaps they are going to show The Cleveland Show instead once Bojack is finished.
You’d think Bob’s would rate better than Bojack as Bojack is available on Netflix and is finished , Bob’s isn’t streaming anywhere .
13 on my tv is still 10HD, but 1 is also 10HD now.
10Shake is only on 350. ???
Retune!
Usually the only way to fix that is start again and retune - just 10 if possible otherwise retune all channels.
Didn’t they lose all the FOX content in 2017 after the CBS buyout? Plus all the animated stuff they had is now on the 7 multi-channels.
