Nickelodeon (formerly 10Shake)

But not 3 and 4?

I know I’ll get shit for this: but those graphics are just awful and the brand they are trying to create misses the mark for me. It’s a misfire

The whole zany off the wall wacky look went out a few years ago.

Clearly approved by an old executive out of touch with design trends

But I think the channel will be decently successful

Of course, because you’re always negative about everything you see with graphics and designs.

Be interesting if and how will WIN carry the station if they decide to do so?

It’s a launch video, obviously one that was put together quickly to promote the announcement. I doubt that will be the final launch product. So calm down.

It’s still better than what 7 are running as their main branding at the moment.

If they could get repeat rights to Bob’s Burgers, they could have a lineup of Bobs Burgers, South Park and Bojack?

I wonder if SBS Viceland has rights to new episodes and 10 Shake’s will be repeats…

I’m in regional Qld , so we won’t get the channel… ?

10 Shake sounds like a good name. Kids in the morning and entertainment primetime. “The Entertainment Network” gets a whole new meaning.

Interesting to hear.

Oh, that’s pretty sad news especially since after a relaunch only a few months ago and the fact that Lia Walsh joined Toasted TV (from an on-air perspective anyway) less than a full year ago!

Of note, none of these are from ViacomCBS. They’re from various distributors (such as Roadshow and Entertainment One) and most have been aired before.

Paramount Pictures are licenced separately to ViacomCBS TV library, which I raised some time ago and wondered, looks like this has happened.

Paramount movies currently air on various networks such as Seven, Nine and SBS. Used to air on 10 but not sure if they have any runs now?

edit

My comments here (movies and some shows coming from elsewhere) are confirmed by 10’s Dan Monaghan in an interview with Mediaweek, available for free online.

I’d guess SBS still has rights to new episodes… also from memory I remember 9GO! had South Park repeats a few years ago.

They will call the channel WIN Shake.

Fact or guess?

Well they call 10 Bold WIN Bold & 10 Peach WIN Peach, so probably fact.

Yeah, that’s a guess.

I bet you’re right, but it’s still a guess.

Here’s me hoping that they do add Beavis & Butthead content on to Shake. When it came from MTV and now Comedy Central.

I like it!!!

I’m not negative. I give honest professional assessments and opinions. I’m a Creative Director, TV branding and creative executive so it’s my area . I see a lot of beautiful incredible branding and Channel positioning and graphics. Just not from FTA in Australia. It’s all pretty average.

10 is by far the best. Most others are mediocre

Well, that explains why you have so many axes to grind with the networks.
