Why is this even a story? I’m not going give The Daily Mail the pleasure of a click.

Have you seen how many of their own constituents the Victorian Liberal have blocked on social media?

The Daily Mail was actually quoting an article from The Australian’s Strewth column earlier in the day.

Yes, still doesn’t explain why it’s even a story.

Especially considering their continued use of Dandemic and Dictator Dan is quite out of line. That would be why.

News Corp launches yet another digital news site today: The Albury Wodonga News, with Cassandra Glover as reporter. It will compete against the incumbent The Border Mail, and is also Leader Community News’ first foray into the NSW market.

The next cab on the rank is The Goulburn Valley News, which will launch on September 28. Madi Chwasta, who previously worked for the Shepparton News and ABC Radio Melbourne, will be the site’s reporter.

Could they find a nicer photo of Quaden? Always the unflattering photo, perhaps a still from the video he was crying in?

Surely The Guardian, the most touchy feely of news outlets would have realised this?

More journalism on the cheap from News, what a joke.

Simply a ruse to find some local content and sell masses of dirt cheap online ads around. Likely unsustainable long term and News will bin these sites if/when they don’t take off.

The newsrooms where print titles exist can expect to be cut to this laughable level in time as revenues continue diving off the cliff further once legacy sales contracts expire.

If the journalists are in the community and reporting on local issues, whats the issue (outside of it being News Corp)? We should be supporting attempts to increase regional journalism.
