Same format on Thursday 7 November - program on both days will also start at 5am, with Wedneday’s program running until 10am, and will be live on ABC-TV outside of the AEDT timezone. Thursday’s program will finish at the usual time of 9am, and will not be live on ABC-TV outside of the AEDT timezone.

Michael would be a massive loss to the show. You can tell he is getting a bit tired of it. A couple of months back, he was complaining on air (quite a few times) about the new finance graphics and how hard it is to read. Nothing major, but venting just isn’t something he would normally do. I suspect watching all his colleagues leave and him still being there doesn’t really help his motivation at 3am.

That’s because they’re using shit fonts now. A lot of the graphics are impossible to read from the couch.

I think the hey days of this show will be over once Michael leaves. Let’s be honest they were pretty much over a year or two after Virginia left.
James and Bridget are lovely people I’m sure but they just aren’t a Nat or Karl. They of course don’t have to be but they definitely won’t be strong enough to compete with the others.

They have been grooming James for a bit I think, and I think that might have been fine when Lisa was there. But when there is a different co-host, they should be reassessing succession plans. James, Bridget and (potentially) Charles on sport is a bit too beige IMO.
