Triple M remains at #1 with 17.2% (+0.1), followed by a tie for 2nd place between Hit & JJJ, both at 12.8% (-1.1 & +1.1 respectively), ABC Newcastle at 9.2% (Steady), New FM at 9% (+1.9) & 2HD at 8.1% (Steady).
In the demos, JJJ is #1 in the 18-39s, with Triple M topping the 40-64s & 2HD winning the 65+.
In breakfast, Triple M’s Tanya & Steve dominates with 20.6%, followed by Hit’s Nick, Jess & Ducko with 12.4%, JJJ’s Bryce & Ebony with 11.6%, and ABC Newcastle’s Jenny Marchant & Dan Cox with 11.1%. In drive, JJJ’s Hobba & Hing is #1 with 17.5%, followed by Hit’s Carrie & Tommy with 16.9%, and Triple M’s Rush Hour with 15.9%.
The “Other Stations” rating is at 25.1%, up 0.4% from last survey.
JJJ is No.1 with the 18 - 24 and 25 - 39 year olds - by a long shot.
SCA is a little out of touch with this demographic.
As is NEW FM by an even longer shot.
I have much lower expectations for New FM!
Actually, I have no expectations for a Caralis station.
