Since TVNZ and WBD Discovery want to bid the 2026-2032 Olympics is it a realistic chance that TVNZ is getting back the rights, how SKY didn’t do a deal with TVNZ in this years Olympics as they did with Tokyo?

This article suggests TVNZ are considering the idea of an ad free subscription model TVNZ+ for exclusive sports and other content.

@Reece Although WhitebaitMedia recently relocated from its purpose-built studio and post production facility in Riccarton to a smaller office in downtown Christchurch, the company’s previous production facilities are still referenced on its website which has not been updated.

Quite interesting to see that The Hui is still being filmed on the old Newshub set.
Stuff also recorded a promo for their Americas Cup coverage on the set.

Freeview have updated their website. The functionality looks to have improved, but the graphics need another go over!

Imagine a one-stop streaming service. In such a small market it would make so much sense.

Cuts beginning from the top - not good to see any cuts, but that’s the best place to start.

I like it.

Shame after all these years there’s so no real options for viewing. Sure streaming and cost of a slot? On a satellite is limited and expensive but surely there’s a way for more. Refreshing now and then to flick through tv channels.

A license requirement?

Is it similar to the Queen’s funeral with processions etc? or is it a service? How will they go about covering it in terms of wraparound or will it be a straight feed from the place?
