It’s not though

That’s weird. I remember right at the launch it was like that. Must have been a technical problem. I like the watermark being opaque, looks much nicer.

Whakaata Māori will again provide exclusive polling of the Māori seats leading up to next month’s general election.

WHAKATAU 2023: KEI A KOE TE WHAKATAU – IT’S UP TO YOU will release polls during the seven Māori electorate debates which begin from 19 September.

Whakaata Māori election coverage also includes sit-downs with political leaders in its award-winning current affairs show, Te Ao with Moana.

More than 8,000 voters switched from the General to Māori roll earlier this year, with 2,133 new enrolments to date, taking the number of Māori roll voters to more than quarter of a million.

Retirements and candidate changes are set to heat up competition across the Māori seats where voters have not been afraid to change allegiance.

Throughout, the Whakaata Māori Te Ao Māori newsroom will continue to test the pulse of voters before they hit the polling booths.

LIVE DEBATES

Every Tuesday and Thursday at 7.00 PM from 19 September, veteran journalist, Tina Wickliffe, will host live debates between candidates in the seven Māori electorates.

Is that how long the episodes will be available (1 week on-demand) on TVNZ+?

Yes, same as Australia.

They’ll then be exclusive to Prime Video.

So even NZ get it before Australia too.

2 countries airing it first before it’s own is just silly.

Wdym? It’s not a 10 production.

The show is set in australia and created each week by Australians but its not an Australian show anymore

Um, it Neighbours revival has gone back being an Australian show by the looks of it. Surprised it has returned to the younger TVNZ 2 channel rather than older TVNZ 1 channel leading to The Chase replacing re-runs of Mike and Molly. Neighbours would be nothing important to TVNZ 2.

When Neighbours returns to TVNZ it will only be shown four days a week, i.e. Tuesday to Friday, instead of five.

New episodes will be less than 24 hours after their original Australian broadcasts (4.30pm AEST = 6.30pm NZT) and shown on TVNZ 2 at 5.30pm from 19 September, according to the updated ratecard for both TVNZ 1 & 2.

How is Neighbours not an Australian show?

Ill take it back, dont want to confuse people so will just say it is an Australian show to please

Well Factually your statement was incorrect.

It’s commissioned by Amazon which is a global company but by any way one could classify a show’s country of origin- Neighbours is Australian
