Doesnt sound very original
Agreed. what is with telcos and weird rebrands.
Also, are we supposed to pronounce it as “one” or as “own” as in the end of the word “Vodafone”?
good point
Season 11 of The Voice Australia premieres on TVNZ2 this Friday (October 7) at 7.30pm. Keith Urban, Jessica Mauboy, Rita Ora and Guy Sebastian all returned as coaches.
There were several changes to this season:
- The introduction of Battle Pass button, allowing coaches to fast-track artists straight through to the Battle Rounds. Each coach could only press the button for one artist in the entire phase of blind auditions.
- New to this season’s blind auditions, a coach could block another coach at any time, even during their pitch as long as the blocker turned his/her chair.
- The Callbacks, a tough new round for the coaches as they must decide who they would take through to the Battle Rounds from their chosen 12 artists.
The artists competing for a spot in the Battle Rounds can be found here
Shame TVNZ had to cut out the last few seconds of the BSA apology, even when the sentence wasn’t even finished reading.
Able NZ has announced it will launch Audio Description (AD) on Three starting tonight.
+HR=E have dropped their massive now/next banners this week - new ones are more like the other WBD channels, top left corner and much less intrusive. A vast improvement.
Rare night of free-to-air sport across the networks tonight.
TVNZ1 - Black Caps (Live)
Three - RWC Black Ferns (Delayed)
Prime - Bunnings NPC (Live)
Delayed?
Yeah. Edited post to include these.
And Lord of the Rings on TV2. Nothing more Kiwi than sports and Peter Jackson on the same night.
Must be a busy night for Spark Sport to control both of their live events of the rugby and cricket at the same time for the FTA broadcasters TVNZ and Three.
Spark Sport has the full rights. Three are carrying Black Ferns pool games and two quarter finals (delayed), plus the semis and final live.
Pretty similar to previous RWC agreements that would’ve happened with Sky in the past.
The fact that the Women’s RWC match coverage is a world feed and Spark Sport wraps their pre/post-game & HT studio segments around that would have helped them.
Season 4 of Lego Masters Australia premieres on Three tomorrow (Monday) at 7.30pm, continuing on Tuesdays. It was the first season to be filmed in Fox Studios in Sydney, after three seasons in Melbourne, due to the COVID state border restrictions at the time of filming (late 2021).
The season introduced the Titanium Brick of Triumph, which the winning team could use to keep them safe from a future Elimination Challenge.
Season 6 of Australian Ninja Warrior premieres on THREE on Sunday (October 16) at 7pm, with new hosts tennis legend Jim Courier and journalist Leila McKinnon.
Huge win for Sky Sport, major loss for Spark Sport.
