I actually got use to the temporary set. I dont like the look of this set in studio still, still feels like where plasmas go to die

Australian reality show Hunted, based on the UK show of the same name, premieres on TVNZ2 next Tuesday (September 27) at 8.30pm.

Official trailer

When it aired in Australia in July and August this year, it attracted mixed reviews and quite decent ratings. Applications are now open for the second season.

The UK original features running around all places in the British Isles, whereas the Aussie one just set in Melbourne and around the city is that true? New Zealand reality programmes where just Auckland centric or have to be close to Auckland

As the press release mentioned above, the Aussie version is set in the entire state of Victoria, not just Melbourne. Most activities took place in central Victoria, although one team reached as far as Beechworth in the state’s north east.

Do you remember that team tripped across a Melbourne CBD street

in the middle of peak hour traffic. They even reported about it on a article if I can recall.

A bit of stretch really. Will it be hard to differentiate the two?

Notwithstanding the slight similarity to TVNZ1, it’s not the most catchy or imaginative rebrand.

Doesnt sound very original

Agreed. what is with telcos and weird rebrands.

Also, are we supposed to pronounce it as “one” or as “own” as in the end of the word “Vodafone”?

Season 11 of The Voice Australia premieres on TVNZ2 this Friday (October 7) at 7.30pm. Keith Urban, Jessica Mauboy, Rita Ora and Guy Sebastian all returned as coaches.
There were several changes to this season:

  • The introduction of Battle Pass button, allowing coaches to fast-track artists straight through to the Battle Rounds. Each coach could only press the button for one artist in the entire phase of blind auditions.
  • New to this season’s blind auditions, a coach could block another coach at any time, even during their pitch as long as the blocker turned his/her chair.
  • The Callbacks, a tough new round for the coaches as they must decide who they would take through to the Battle Rounds from their chosen 12 artists.

The artists competing for a spot in the Battle Rounds can be found here

Shame TVNZ had to cut out the last few seconds of the BSA apology, even when the sentence wasn’t even finished reading.
