Will be interested to see how magic goes moving forward with the new lineup ie gary mccormack on morning breakfast slot
It will be. I get the feeling Gary and Mark donât like eachother much lol. Itâs a pity they didnât put Mark and Leah on Magic breakfast after Today FM ended.
I get for Auckland 47.5 which is 1.9 share missing (total shown 49.4)
Compare that to survey 1 1.8 share missing , 48.5 (total shown 50.3)
Very slight increase 0.1
My bad, inadvertently omitted Humm FM.
New country music station set to launch in October Mike Puruâs big move: 'Why I'm leaving New Zealand' | Woman's Day
I wouldnât get too excited. Itâs probably an online one.
Former More FM host Dan Bernstone is setting up his new country music station, which will launch in October
It seems like Channel X have done away with âno adsâ with 1-2 ads per block. They havenât done the same as Brian FM, which seems to work their ads (or sponsor slots) in. Channel X just hitting play on the ads MW play on other stations.
Good to know, no doubt always part of the plan otherwise it just makes no sense for MW to create the station.
Was always part of the plan. Ads but not as they have been.
Donovan will be the new host of Nights on RNZ National while Andrew Clark will be the new host of RNZ Concertâs Mornings programme.
Mark perry doing voiceover and station sweepers for both magic

Mike West leaving 2XS/More FM Manawatu at the end of the year after 34 years doing the breakfast show.
Does this mean theyâll take the networked breakfast show as well?
Surprised to hear this. I thought Mike might have been moved to The Breeze Manawatu eventually.
Would be sad for Manawatu to lose local breakfast on More, but wouldnât be surprised to see The Breakfast Club pushed into the market to save costs.
It would be sad, but definitely wouldnât be surprised. Hopefully Mediaworks see the value in keeping Gareth either solo or with someone new. Manawatu is in a unique position with 2 local breakfast shows and NZ radio rules simply donât allow that. One local breakfast show in a market per company, and thatâs for the lucky markets ![]()
Must be hard for anyone trying to break into radio with network stations and only just mw and nzme providing these services
Your chances of getting a start must be limiting
Local radio was personalized and you knew your station
100% Breakfast on More is staying local in Palmy, there a plans to bring someone in with Gareth.
I too, did think that maybe Mike would move over to The Breeze at some stage but thatâs not to be.
I doubt Mediaworks will be tinkering too much with the powerhouse that is 92.2 anytime soon.
