Is the ABC or Sky News providing coverage or will they be occupied with The Voice vote?
Why would they run coverage?
They’ve always covered the NZ election, ABC takes the TVNZ Feed and Sky News takes the Newshub Feed.
According to the Freeview Guide, NZ’s Election Coverage will look a little like this…
Sky listings show Sky News will be preoccupied by the Australian Referendum. Strange to see Lotto hasn’t been bumped to TV2. Nothing important is scheduled early Sunday Morning, certainly easily bumped content if the need arises. Plenty of analysis on Sunday morning too.
They probably want to inflate their election night numbers with the added bonus of a live Lotto draw, pity the jackpot was struck last night and isn’t $30 million for Saturday lol
Poll off today with 1 News and Newshub both releasing their last polls of the election today.
1 News: Poll: Labour lifts and Greens strong, Peters has decision to make
Basically not this time, neither are covering it in AUS - they might have normally but just the unfortunate situation of both sides of the ditch having their own big poll at the same time!
Just 2 days to go until Election Day, the major party leaders, Chris Hipkins (Labour) and Christopher Luxon (National) will square off head-to-head one last time in the final leaders debate on TVNZ 1/TVNZ+ tonight at 7:00pm; Moderated by Jessica Mutch McKay once again.

That bed leg comment really knocked Luxon off. Was not expecting that at all.
Good god that looks awful and tacky
Not exactly sure what’s going on here.
Looks laser Kiwi going to ‘zap’ the candidates that don’t make it in, my guess.
A gimmick like Nine’s election night coverage uses.
