Looking at getting a new 50inch smart TV. Around $600-700. Recommendations…
No apostrophe.
Samsung are quite good in my opinion, maybe get an Android TV.
As mentioned “$600-700”
At that price range, I’d go for a Hisense… I have the 43 inch version of this for a 2nd TV and it’s great.

Have looked at that model. But hearing it can’t access some of the free tv apps. Can’t get 7plus & Nine Now
Oh OK, I haven’t tried that yet on mine… I’ve only had it a week, but I’ll give it a try.
If you could & let me know that’d be awesome thanks mate
Hisense or Samsung. Samsung AU8000 50" on sale usually goes for around $780 if u can afford the little bit extra.
I love my Samsung Smart TV (TU8000), but don’t really use the built-in OS. I just use an Apple TV 4K with mine - better experience for apps
try getting an android tv. I got a TCL android that is now almost 3 years old.
something like this maybe
I just had a go at trying 7plus or 9now.
It’s not a pre-loaded app and doesn’t show up in the VIDAA App Store either.
Bummer. It’s crazy they don’t have them isn’t it! Thanks for checking!
Yeah I know!
I didn’t think that it would NOT have them.
Not a deal breaker for me as I don’t use those streaming services much - my main TV (Sony) has all the streaming apps I need anyway.
Or grab a Firestick/Fetch/Google Chrome and just a decent TV.
