New Formats

Finally. Iā€™m hoping this would be picked up by one of the networks here.

Which network are we thinking?

Iā€™d say maybe 9.

Nine is likely considering they donā€™t have many reality formats at the moment but it would also fit 10 perfectly. Seven are more interested in revivals.

Yeah I thought 9 cause itā€™s a little different to the rest of their schedule.

10 already has a lot of competition based series, Iā€™m A Celeb, Survivor, Amazing Race etc.

Seven donā€™t have much luck launching new ideas, and maybe too similar to a bunch of failed formats.

10 have done their fair share over the years. And 9 currently have Weakest Link and BATG. Theyā€™re all pretty good at recycling.

Hunted is a great pick up for any network. However itā€™s not really reality and I wonder how they will do it on such a large scale here in Australia.

I think itā€™s either Nine or 10.

Finally, an interesting new format. Might just give this a go, even if it ends up on Nine since The Apprentice was fairly good, should be a decent product from Shine Endemol.

Never say never. Could be a good companion with Survivor.

Doesnā€™t really sound like like something for 10, interestingly the Instagram casting call notice says theyā€™re only accepting couples from NSW.

Going by how this documentary is being pitched, it sounds like something we might see on SBS.

The formats include Marble Mania, Avastars, Hunting Season, A Quiz for You, Hit the Road and Kids Buy a House.

Marble Maniaā€¦now that definitely sounds like a Channel Seven program! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

The 6 x 140-minute series sees creative artists given the chance to reinvent well-known songs with their own cover performances, as well as performing songs they have written and composed.

Twenty-two singer-songwriters will compete in the series, taking to the stage to showcase their own songs and interpretations of those that have gone before. To be able to go through to the next round, the candidates will have to face a judging panel, but also the viewers, who will vote via social media.

Wasnā€™t sure where the best place to post this was, but WarnerBros TV Aus are casting for NSW couples to participate in a new doco series following people in couples therapy for ā€œan international streaming serviceā€.
