Australia could fill several series of Nationâs Dumbest. ![]()
We already have. Itâs called RBT.
Its called Australian politics
I recently listened to Behind Reality, and on the episode with South African Survivor Head Producer Lerux, he mentioned that his other favourite show he produced was a playful competition show called Power Couple - I think thereâs also a version in Brazil.
The premise is that romantic couples live in a villa and compete in challenges where they have to bet on each other to build their prize pot. The two worst-performing couples each week face a house vote to decide who is evicted. The last couple left wins their pot that theyâve earned over the series.
Iâve watched a few eps on Youtube and I donât mind it - feels very MKR (espically the lighter and playful moments of MKR) with a tinge of MAFS (the observation of romantic couples) and a small dash of Survivor (a bit of social politics in the eviction vote) and it might be something that can work on Aussie TV (maybe with a little bigger budget with the challenges, and turning up the drama a little bit more - Just a hint more of spice, it should not be overdone).
They did a season of 8 couples, for 14 episodes (2 episodes per week/game cycle). I could see an Aussie network maybe bumping it up to a cast of 10-12 couples for a run of 16-18 episodes.
Season 1âŚ..
and Season 2 of Nationâs Dumbest. ![]()
Iâve got an idea for an Australian TV Comedy Sitcom reboot Hey Mum with all your favourite Characters like Simon, Betty the Lesbian Secretary,Jenny,Nudge and Martina the mum. But sorry I canât script write.
Donât give up your day job.
Sounds all well and good but there will never be a remake, reairing or reimagining of Hey dad after what Robert Hughes did. such a shame because it was a good show
âWerewolvesâ is both a social experiment and a psychological thriller unfolding in real-time. Banijay Entertainment will be adapting it across major international territories where the company has a footprint, including in the U.S., Australia and New Zealand, the U.K., Spain, Portugal, Italy, Nordics, The Netherlands, Israel, Mexico, Brazil and India.
Filmed at a purpose-built forest village in France, the production hub is now available for international versions through Banijay Entertainmentâs global network of labels.
Among Us RESPONDS to Their Missing Cartoon
No idea for the right thread here, but really hoping a deal comes soon.
I reckon either Netflix, Paramount or Prime Video will pick this up eventually.
Will this guy just stop with these new music shows? No one cares for these new derivative versions of Masked Singer/Got Talent/X Factor etc.
Maybe Building the Band on Netflix was a success and this is ABC/Simon trying to cash in on that?
I was just watching Today Show and there was a mini Game Show segment which had a family have to guess lyrics to a Whitney seeHouston Song, with Karl Stefanovic and Sarah sAbo? Itâs like Richard Wilkins 1990âS show KeyNotes so I reckon bring this back to Aussie TV as Half n Hour episodes?
