Network Ten and Paramount+ Football coverage

Is an alternate FTA broadcaster (outside maybe SBS) going to want to touch it though?

I wouldn’t be surprised if the fta component is parked in favour of ensuring they have a broadcaster.

This could be a good opportunity to reset the competition and try to rebuild

They could just buy air time or revenue share on 10 Peach like the old Fox deal or current NBL deal

The best A League years was when Fox had the EPL. A real Super Saturday. A League is just not a draw on its own

A deal with Optus would be best for all.

If the APL is as cooked as the reporting seems to indicate, you’d have to question whether they’re in a position to be able to do an alternate deal.

Can say that this is unlikely from what I’ve heard. Neither side will be ending the deal early given the broadcaster owns a part of the league. The question still remains as to whether the deal will be renewed.

Unfortunately, the Socceroos lost their match early this morning.

At the end of tonight’s A-League coverage on 10Bold, they had a highlights package of this mornings match, which was great to see. They even crossed over to Simon Hill and Andy Harper, who talked a little about the match. The team also mentioned that the Quarter Final match between Iran and Japan will be shown on Paramount+ at 10.30pm aedt (in 7 minutes time).

Tomorrow afternoon’s 10Bold match has been moved back to 6.30pm aedt (with a 7pm kick-off) due to the heat.
