I believe so.

I am wondering if this deal includes the US home games that ESPN are the host broadcaster as ESPN Australia has some weird legacy rights deal that give them the rights these games. This has blocked BeIN Sports from showing MLS Cup and MLS All Stars games in alternating sessions in the past

Yeah, I’ve seen a few FTA games shown at sports bars and the like. Too bad if your team isn’t playing on a Saturday.

The Asian Cup Qualifier coverage (between the Socceroos and Japan) finished at 10.56pm aedt. Post match segment was good, discussing the Socceroos loss and what needs to happen for the team to proceed in the future.

Somewhat interestingly, Paramount+ taking a world feed for the Mexico/USA game, despite the game airing on big CBS in the US…

The “Matildas Preview Show” just finished airing on the Eastern States. They previewed the Matildas matches that will be played on Friday night and on Tuesday night. And a discussion on the current squad.

Most football preview/highlight shows are on 10 Bold. Like this Matildas Preview Show; The Road to Qatar show; and the A-League Highlights Show. I guess its consistent on 10 Bold at 10.30pm.

I can see why 10 was frustrated that Football Australia chose Disney+ for the documentary on Matildas’ preparation for next year’s World Cup. I went back to check the press release on 10’s deal with FA earlier in this thread. While the deal cover Matildas matches, it didn’t mention any off-field programs such as the Matildas documentary.
Also I posted earlier that Disney+ is available in far more overseas countries than Paramount+.

I’ll be interested to see what happens with today’s game in NZ. Obviously Sky NZ will do all the cameras etc. but will 10 do commentary (obviously from the studio in Sydney) or will they take a full Sky match broadcast (I assume P+ will do studio stuff) and will Sky get/use the AL graphics or their own, or will there be a Sky feed and a world (normal graphics) feed (ala the EPL)?
