Network Ten and Paramount+ Football coverage

But it’s HD I’m it’s owned and operated markets. They’re not obliged to cater for this other audiences. I know it’s unfair but it’s not 10’s fault.

Judging by the ratings from the other game that was in prime time on main channel they’ve made the right decision.

They’ve got as much right to be perplexed by 10’s decision as other people do with 7’s decision to put the Womens cricket on 7mate.

And famously, those shows are unable to be bumped for a week.

That’s part of the issue with a sport going from pay to FTA - big fans of the sport are used to watching them in a sports surrounded environment like Fox not at the whim of where Bev decides to chuck it.

Alex Brosque is the latest addition to 10’s soccer coverage becoming the 13th presenter for 10.

Is Niav Owens a former player or something? I wonder why she is the main host. Has she got broadcasting credentials?

Edit: former ABC Grandstand and Fox Sports News.

Strange they’ve gone for someone outside the network and without a large profile. She’s doing an ok job.

10 BOLD HD watermark also being used in SCA regional markets where the coverage is in SD (would indicate a dirty feed being used).

That is fake news. Alex Brosque was already announced as a expert commentator for 10 network.

Niav Owens was hosting 10’s Matildas friendly, as well as Friday’s qualifier for the Socceroos. Scott Mackinnon was doing the hosting duties till recently when Niav Owens started taking over.

She was part of Optus Sport

Scott McIntyre is at the ground as a sideline reporter for 10

Was he the guy sacked from sbs

Not sure he’s the type of person 10 want associated with the network.

Seems as if 10 wanted an Aussie in Tokyo for the game tonight and he may have been one of the limited freelancers available?
