Network Ten and Paramount+ Football coverage

Could we see her and other ten soccer presenters part of the Melbourne Cup presenting team?

Probably not. The team has already been announced.

Plus they are all in Sydney.

TV graphics are from AFC

Yeah she’s impressive.

Do we know any of the play by play commentators other than Simon Hill (for P+ mainly)? Gonna need to be a few signed up.

Isn’t the A-League itself producing this coverage for P+ and not channel 10?

The 10/Paramount+ games from what I believe will be done by the network. Essentially Saturday night A-League plus all finals.

Yeah sorry, I more meant ‘do we know who’s going to be calling the non Simon Hill matches?’, not necessarily who is 10 signing. Poorly worded on my part.

I thought the 10 and Paramount+ partnership was going to work similar to Stan Sport for Rugby or am I wrong?

You are. APL Media (working title) is making the full broadcast package for Paramount+ for all but the Socceroos, Matildas, and one ALM and one ALW game per week. 10 is doing those matches for broadcast entirely themselves, with APL Media doing NFL Films-style stuff at all games as well.

I’m not much into the NFL but I assume it’s like Fox Cricket with the games then live streamed ones as well?

Do we know if there will be 10 commentators on APL media?

No, sorry I should have explained. The games will be produced to a similar standard as 10’s coverage for each non-10 game. There won’t be seperate coverage made for any games (other than AFC world feeds).
By NFL I mean NFL Films NFL Films - Wikipedia. That’s not match coverage, it’s non-match coverage of games. Similar to All or Nothing style camera work, archive footage, etc. This will then be used in panel shows, on social media, etc.

And APL media will also do pre/post match or will it be like 10 taking pre/post match from studio then crossing to APL media similar to Optus Sport with the PL?

No, 10 is doing the whole broadcast/presentation for 1 Saturday night game per week for Men’s and 1 Sunday afternoon game per week for Women’s. The APL will be doing the rest.

Is Niav Owens the new Scotty Mackinnon. Scotty was doing their Socceroo Internationals now looks like, he is only doing the magazine program for that now, as well as Matildas magazine program.

What ever happen to Bruce Djite? He appeared on 10’s first ever Socceroo Qualifier, now looks like he is nowhere to be seen.

I’m expecting them to be used in the A-Leagues coverage

I hope these people do realise that the Cheap Seats and NCIS are regulars on a Tuesday night

Again: Not everyone can receive 10 BOLD in HD!

Until every market of Australia has the same level of MPEG4 1080i channel coverage, the complaints will continue.
