First time for a while the Brisbane set has been fired up Iâm guessing.
Great to see the Brisbane News set still alive and kicking.
Other than the last few times sheâs been on the coverage.
But yes, you would have thought that the studio would have been dismantled (save for maybe a screen for potential live-crosses) by now.
Her tweet say âenjoyable first callâ so assumed that was the first time presenting from there.
All good, her previous show appearances looked a little bit different, so maybe.
what is the set thats on the screens in the bottom right corner
Thatâll be the commentary studio.
Network 10 And Paramount+ To Deliver Double The Football Action On Saturday Nights.
Australiaâs new home of football will break ground on Saturday nights, broadcasting one live A-League match on Network 10 and two live A-League matches on Paramount+.*
As part of a unique multi-screen experience, football fans watching on 10 and 10 Play will also enjoy expert commentary, highlights and analysis from the match, with a simultaneous kick off, streaming on Paramount+.
This broadcast led innovation will see more free-to-air coverage than ever before.
Fans will be closer to the action with crosses between the two venues, live goal updates from both games and the opportunity to experience dynamic multi-screen viewing across Network 10 and Paramount+.
Adam Cush, Network 10âs Director of Sport Production, said: "These double game Saturday nights are part of 10 ViacomCBSâ fans first approach to broadcasting football in Australia.
âItâs an innovation that we believe will give football fans more bang for their buck by showcasing two games on free-to-air and every game live on Paramount+."
Network 10 Football Commentator, Simon Hill, said: "Two Saturday night, prime-time A-League games with simultaneous kick offs will be football heaven - itâs something fans have wanted for a long time.
âPlus, imagine a final weekend scenario where two or more clubs are battling it out for finals or the Premiership?"
The W-League will get a slice of the free to air action with the match of the round screened live on Sunday afternoons on 10 Bold and simulcast on 10 Play.
APL Managing Director, Danny Townsend, said: âThis year weâve got more teams, more games and more football than ever before, and fans are going to get double the action on Network 10.â
The season kicks off with the A-League on Friday, 19 November and the W-League on Friday, 3 December.
Not sold on this. Sounds like the EPLâs Goal Rush feature but not sure itâll translate as well to A-League.
However - good to see some innovation here.
Yeah, Iâm looking forward to it, but it would probably work better with 3 games on at once.
I can understand last day of season. Now youâre just splitting your live audience up. Football fanatics love the back to back to back games leading into the the European leagues at night.
Will the local 10 network will stay with the team in home market?
Roar on 10 Brisbane with 10 Melbourne taking the Victory game.
That actually would be decent to have the two games and interchange the one theyâre playing depending on the market. Highly unlikely theyâll do it.
Just wondering does this mean you will be able to watch the whole game or will it be like the Olympics coverage going in and out of events?
The draw is a bit confusing regarding which games will be on 10. Could the season opener be on 10 FTA?

Clearly this will be live into the respective markets? You wouldnât be airing the Sydney derby into Melbourne and vice versa
They will broadcast one game nationally on 10 / 10play and the other will be on Paramount +.
EDIT: Both games will be shown live on Paramount +.
I suspect both games will be available in their entirety on Paramount+ while 10 will air the âfeatureâ game and incorporate updates/live look-ins from the other game into their coverage
Reckon the plan is designed with the âcasualâ audience in that potentially means if the âmainâ game 10 is focusing on becomes a one-sided affair, they could decide to go to the other game instead.
Good shout. Going to annoy a few fans that want to see their team paste the opposition 5-0 when Ten pulls out at 3-0
.
Not âclearlyâ, no.
