Looks like tomorrow’s Socceroos match will be called from the venue with Robbie Thompson on the ground in Indonesia for the game.
Good on 10 for sending someone to the game rather than just doing full coverage out of Sydney
I noticed footage from last nights game used during the Today show this morning had a P+ watermark which had the word exclusive underneath.
However the footage posted to social media doesn’t appear to have this? Wonder if it was actually used on the stream, or just on footage provided to outlets.
From socials:
Simon Hill called it remotely. Robbie was sideline.
I didn’t watch live so not sure, but I’d say it was the provided footage given the other broadcasters probably weren’t screen recording P+.
It was on the stream.
I watched it live - exclusive watermark was on the stream. Audio wasn’t the best going around either with a lot of background noise etc and you could really hear the contrast with the Sydney studio.
Also - never got Paramount playing long segments of nothing but the Paramount logo during commercial breaks, would think they’d at least play ads for shows etc.
The 2024/25 A-League Women fixture was revealed at lunchtime today, coinciding with the announcement that SharkNinja will be the new naming rights partner. The season starts on Friday, November 1.
Every match of A-League Women this season will be shown live on Paramount+ and 10 Play, plus there will be a big increase in FTA broadcast of matches.
Building on the growth in 2023-24, which saw TV viewership grow by more than 133% year-on-year, the minimum number of free-to-air matches on 10 Bold will also increase from one to 10 as the league, alongside Network Ten and new naming rights partner Ninja, continue to elevate the visibility of the women’s game.
One match from each of the four opening rounds will be shown live on 10 Bold, plus one match from each of the last two regular season rounds. During the 2025 Finals Series, one match from each weekend will also be shown live on 10 Bold, including the Grand Final on 16-18 May.
EDIT: Western United’s home ground at Tarneit is called Ironbark Fields.

Good to have this back for another season.
Interesting to read that it is a minimum of 10 matches of the A-League Women’s regular season shown on FTA - being 10 Bold. Why not just one match every round?
At least we see one match from each weekend of the Finals Series - plus the Grand Final - shown on FTA.
Because that didn’t rate last time. And all games are free anyone on 10Play.
The Matildas will play friendlies against Chinese Taipei at Melbourne’s AAMI Park on Wednesday, December 4, and at GMHBA Stadium in Geelong three nights later.
Saturday, 21 September

Sunday, 22 September
South Melbourne v Macarthur FC (Lakeside Stadium, 6pm AEST)
Both semi finals will be streamed live on 10 Play.
The Australian Professional Leagues (APL) has appointed sports production company JAM TV and global media services provider EMG/Gravity Media as the new production partners of the A-Leagues.
The appointment will see both companies produce all Ninja A-League Women and Isuzu UTE A-League Men matches for the next two seasons for broadcaster Network Ten and Paramount+.

Previous production partner was NEP
It was originally Global Advance before it collapsed in March this year. NEP was contracted to produce coverage for the rest of the 2023-24 season.
Chronologically yes.
I hope they don’t have the same problems they do with 7 AFLW and not being able to successfully operate a scorebug.
Wasn’t that just a once off incident?
I’ve seen it happen a lot over the past few seasons.
The two matches (November 28 and December 1) will be held before the Matildas’ friendlies against Chinese Taipei in early December.
Football Australia announced yesterday that the 2024 Australia Cup final between Melbourne Victory and Macarthur FC would be held at AAMI Park this Sunday (September 29) at 7.10pm AEST. The match will be shown live on 10 Bold and 10 Play. The broadcast starts at 6.30pm AEST and runs until 10pm AEST.
