Just as I thought, a decent concept, ruined by a polarising gameshow presenter.
I don’t hate Grant Denyer but I don’t really like his hosting style, too OTT (a bit like AOK and Eddie McGuire).

The formats he fronts require it. Feel good, fun tv. There are drama options if you prefer that but most presenters of primetime variety or game shows etc. have to be OTT.

Have you seen the American one? He’s literally imitating Ellen, a very OTT performance for a crazy show.
Pang is not exclusive to Ten. He also co-hosts The Front Bar on Seven (along with Mick Molloy, who also occasionally appears on HYBPA)
It has crossed my mind whether, at some point, Ten or Seven will sign Pang up exclusively.
