Netflix

The petition has merit. Obviously there are locals who are concerned about celebrities and people moving in from outside Byron Bay area, and contributing little (or not contributing at all) to the community.

The byron locals only consider those who read tea leaves or salt crystals to “contribute to the community”, anyone else is an outcast.

Still no info on what Netflix are actually doing.

The USD6b number is ridiculous, presumably just a guess if everyone who is sharing was paying for the same premium account, which will never happen.
The only reason many people are paying the higher tier is for more simultaneous streams, which is pointless if you’re the only one using it.

And Spellbinder too as well as Frontline and Utopia.

Round The Twist was on Netflix a while ago, it’s currently on Amazon Prime Video at the moment too.,

Great show

Wish they’d add Mirror Mirror. I see it is on Youtube though.

Have strange things happened or am I going round the twist?

I can’t wait for Byron Baes now

The council will write to Netflix stating its disapproval.

That’s Netflix done for then.

The question is if the Byron Shire Council will oppose a program on a similar topic by Foxtel or another broadcaster in the future.

They need to get over it. This show is only going to bring more money into the town. Do you think Geordie Shore has done damage to Newcastle? I think not.

no, you’re wrong. I congratulate the Byron Bay council for opposing this. they don’t need shows that are shit coming and filming in their town. if something like this was to be filmed like this where i live, i would hope the local council would oppose it as well
