Netflix has bought all three seasons of Total Control and limited series The Messenger, both of which were commissioned by and aired on the ABC.
Bridgerton Season 4 will debut in two parts. Part 1 will premiere on Jan. 29, 2026, and Part 2 will premiere on Feb. 26. This season will have a total of eight episodes.
Season 4 sees artistic second son Benedict take the lead following the successful love matches of his siblings Anthony, Colin, Daphne, and Francesca. This installment of the beloved series is based on author Julia Quinnâs third Bridgerton novel, An Offer from a Gentleman.
Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down when we meet him again in Season 4. That is, until an enthralling woman captures his attention at Violet Bridgertonâs (Ruth Gemmell) masquerade ball.
âThe storyline is a bit of a twist on Cinderella. You remember being told those stories as a child â the magic and the romance of them,â says Thompson. âItâs really exciting to have that weaved into the world that we know of Bridgerton ⌠Itâs such a great story, but itâs also, I hope, really relatable.â
While Benedict knows his love interest only as the Lady in Silver, sheâs actually Sophie, a resourceful maid with her own secrets and dreams. âWhat drew me to Sophie was that she immediately has obstacles â something that she constantly has to overcome,â says Ha. âWhether itâs this battle around social status or trying to hide her feelings from Benedict.â
Benedict and Sophie wonât be the only characters swooning on the ballroom dance floor in the upcoming season. Jess Brownell is showrunner for Bridgerton Season 4, with Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers, Tom Verica, and Chris Van Dusen as executive producers.
In a new social media post, Duffer clarified that the runtime of the episodes will drop with Stranger Things Season 5: Volume 1 on November 26.

Posting a video of the episodes, Chapter One: The Crawl runs for 1 hour and 8 minutes, Chapter Two: The Vanishing of⌠runs for 54 minutes, Chapter Three: The Turnbow Trap runs for 1 hour and 6 minutes, and Chapter Four: Sorcerer runs for 1 hour and 23 minutes.
