I agree. There’s a lot happening and too much at the same time I think.
Not sure about Home and Away. I haven’t really watched it this year.

The whole marriage and moving to Paris storyline for Haz and Makenzie is a bit too fast for my liking too.
Some storylines drag out, and wish they’d hurry up, and those fast storylines go to fast and is like “why so fast?”. The joys of a soap. lol.
I don’t buy it and it seems a bit of a waste to be getting rid of the character of Haz so soon, unless it was done as a way for Mac to have a happy exit, only for Haz to return in a few months saying it just didnt work out.
I have to agree with the rushing of a lot of the stories of late. The outback week and the lead up to that climax felt rushed and usually you would build up to something like that over 2 to 3 months, but it was done over 3 weeks.
I also still dont understand why they announced that Ryan aka Toadie was being written out of the show, only to stay on as a director behind the scenes. This was such a wasted opportunity to surprise audiences with his departure. Yes it would have leaked but given Ryans staying on as a director he would have still been photographed on set and could quite easily kept it as gossip
Yeah I agree with you it happened rather quickly and they practically ruinedTerese and Toadie as characters by pairing them together . I do think the writer ans the guy in charge who created this storyline or any storyline on this shit season needs a good kick up the ass and a history on Neighbours . I feel like they are repeating the Susan Bower disaster !
Basically now Toadie is a loser and Terese is now a grumpy step mum !
Not really - sometimes things do pick-up, but that is usually in the lead-up to the end of the season, as well as at the beginning of the season (picking-up from the last episode of the previous year), however, it is a bit slower than the new Neighbours.
Things also pick-up around September/October for the episodes that will be the UK’s season final.
But going back to Neighbours, Toadie’s last episode will be on Wednesday 25th September
After five years of playing the role of Mackenzie Hargraves on Neighbours, Georgie Stone has bid farewell to the iconic soap this week.

Georgie’s character Mackenzie exited the soap following a wedding to Haz (Shiv Palekar). The couple then flew out to Paris on the same day.
The storyline aired on Tuesday this week.
Version 1?
That makes no sense.
There’s been plenty of arrivals and departures this year.
Well, it’s an Amazon quirk. Since the show started last September, episodes have been named Season 2023.
They’ve only just started using Season 2024 on episodes screened this month. Right or wrong, this is the first one for Season 2024.
That’s silly.
Not really. That’s because the seasons of shows in the US start in September / October. It’s always been this way.
Plus the deal was two season’s of 200 episodes - new season started when episode 201 went to air.
2023-2024 is usually how the US do it.
Not just 2023 used until September of 2024.
When did they drop the names?
Since they relaunched on Amazon.
Right. I’m not sure I get what’s the point of them focusing so heavily on the different groups for 30 secs if you don’t show their names. As a regular viewer, I guess it’s not a problem.
There will be another update once Toadie leaves
Considering 10 don’t show end credits they really should add them back in. Very disrespectful.
“Ryan’s final episode as a regular cast member is next Wednesday 25 September, but he will return from time to time for guest appearances on the show,” a 10 spokesperson told TV Tonight.
“Ryan is also continuing to develop as a director behind the scenes too.”
Not a surprise that he will make a guest appearance from time to time. Makes sense in why Toadie is moving to close by Colac, rather than to Queensland, like other characters.
