Toadie is leaving Ramsay Street.

However, he’s just started Director training and finished filming his first episode as a Director.

So not leaving the show entirely, and from the video it sounds like he may pop up again from time to time in future.

He was already planning to leave prior to the 2022 ending, so it was probably a matter of time - happy to hear that he will still be invovled.

Neighbours Fan Favourite Ryan Moloney To Farewell Ramsay Street.

Neighbours. Monday To Thursday At 4:00pm On 10 And 10 Play And 6:30pm On 10 Peach.

Ryan Moloney will farewell Ramsay Street later this year after a long and impressive career with the iconic Australian soap, Neighbours.

First gracing our screens in 1995, Ryan quickly became a fan favourite in Australia and internationally. His character, Jarrod ‘Toadfish’ Rebecchi is legendary, a stalwart in television history and one of Australia’s most recognisable faces.

Ryan Moloney said: “After 30 years playing Toadie, I will be leaving Ramsay Street. I can’t tell you what is happening to the character - maybe I could be the next Jim Robinson. Or maybe I’ll be the next Harold Bishop and keep popping back over the years. And although I won’t be bringing you our fantastic storylines from in front of the camera, I will be bringing them to you from the other side, behind the camera. I’ve just started director training and have just finished filming my first episode as director - so I really hope that you enjoy that.

“Thank you all for the love that you have shown me and Toadie over the years. Three decades, in fact. I’ll miss you, I’ll miss him, and I’ll miss Erinsborough… but whatever you do, make sure you don’t miss what’s going to happen on Ramsay Street.”

Neighbours Executive Producer, Jason Herbison said: “Toadie is an Australian television icon and Ryan is Ramsay Street royalty. The street won’t be the same without seeing him every week, however there’s every chance he will pop back in the future.

“In the meantime, we’re thrilled to support his directing ambitions and can’t wait for viewers to see how Toadie’s season-long story arc plays out. Ryan’s been instrumental in the journey and has blown us away with his performance.”

Toadie has been on an emotional journey this season, but what’s next for him? Tune into Neighbours to find out how this story unfolds.

Awwww, Toadie is leaving Ramsay Street :frowning:

And Scott Major and Jonathan Dutton.

They won’t kill him off. Run off with Dee.

End of an era! Farewell Toadie

I noticed on YouTube this week, all the 2009 and 2010 episodes (I think illegally uploaded by a YouTuber rather than the official channels) have been removed, must’ve been flagged or discovered. They were original airings too, including a lot of Ten presentation from the time.

Ryan Moloney did a chat with ITV’s This Morning yesterday (per TV Tonight).

Have 10 completely given up on Neighbours? I’ve just gone to 10Play and cannot find it at all on the main page. There’s a classic Neighbours link but not the current episodes. You have to actually go into “shows” to find it and even then it’s basically at the bottom. Strange for a marquee show, right?

I’ve always had trouble finding it in the past. It never seemed to be on the main page.

Agree it should be the first show on Must-Watch TV ahead of the American soapies.

Even the Featured Shows would be good. They have heaps of axed shows still lingering there like The Bachelors.

I have mixed emotions on the Logan character. On one hand he’s unhinged but on the other I like the idea of two people connecting over a loss of the same loved one. If he can just be honest and settle down I think Aaron and Logan could make a good couple and bond over their memories of David.

10play is so fucking clunky and never works properly.

On my smart TV it usually comes up in the most watched in past week section, which is a fair way down, and even then, sometimes it’s behind shows like Prisoner!

It has a lot of problems. I’ve sometimes had three or four attempts at opening it on my phone. The logo comes up but then it drops out. But no problems on my Fetch box.

Don’t think you meant to write Dessert Masters here?

Oops. I was thinking of Just Desserts which was on 7.
OK. Gladiators.

I’ve had the same problems recently finding the snow on Amazon Prime! It used to come up near the start of the “free with ads” shows but these last few days it’s been a nightmare to find - I had to choose classic eps and navigate from there.

Me again - Mr ‘I missed 10 years of this show but am obsessed currently’…

Did Dee come back from the dead??
