Mike, despite hailing from Mount Gambier was also a decent rugby league caller for NBN, calling some Knights games (and Newcastle NRL Grand Finals) before pay TV arrived.

No wonder they tried hard to keep her from going to Seven. She was good with Ray.
As was Mel. I wonder what she’s doing nowadays.
Kind of explains how effective she is at being opposition leader, just going off her time at NBN. A whole lot of meh.

Wow. Didn’t realise Mike was a South Australian. But given how he pronounced certain words, that would explain it.
NBN News a bit different tonight with the structure of the bulletin. The sport was on halfway through the bulletin then back to normal news reports.

As there wasn’t on the Syd/Melb bulletin.
More importantly, were NBN still able to produce local windows or did they have to run a combined bulletin?

Any news on the old NBN Studio site?
Is that off a Central Coast feed or the Newcastle feed. I thought they got rid of that sort of dual branded watermark?
Could even be the Gold Coast feed, as I think all of the wider viewing area gets the Newcastle Dawn service coverage.
Gold and Central Coasts are still the only regions that still get the little NBN watermark add on during regular programming.

That was off the Central Coast feed. But like @Radiohead says, all NBN viewing areas broadcast the service.

In regards to the Anzac ceremony broadcast, it was amateur hour. Microphone issues, microphone stands blocking speakers’ faces, extremely small graphics… really really bad.
And today they’re running the old graphic package in their promos.
