I wouldnât be surprised to see all 31 of Taylor Swiftâs new songs take up 62% of the ARIA Top 50 Singles Chart next week (they are updated at 5:00pm AEST on Fridays).
Speaking of which, âToo Sweetâ by Hozier has knocked Benson Booneâs âBeautiful Thingsâ off top spot for the week starting Monday 22 April, though I think Hozierâs time at the top will be cut short by this time next week.
On first listen, this is not Ms. Swiftâs best work.

Courtney Love slagged off Taylor Swift this week. I have to say that on this occasion that I agree with her comments. 
To be honest, I donât mind Taylor Swift, thereâs just too much of her⊠sheâs bigger than Ben Hur.
In my opinion, she has a handful of songs that are alright but generally her music is mostly bland.
I know what you mean, but comparatively speaking, i find her more listenable than 90% of whatâs new in the iTunes Top 100 for instance.
Ticketek, the ticketing company said full refunds would be issued to everyone as the company continues to âwork through the rescheduling process with the artistâ.
I think the best way I can describe her new song is how I did on my show this week⊠The keyboard is either:
a. A Car Parking Sensor
b. Truck Reversing
c. Tay left the fridge open and it wants her to close it
Plus the song is so boring it could put an insomniac in a coma, she needs to give up before it gets embarrasing, although I think that ship has already passed.
I have to agree here. IMO her new album is more incredibly generic pop, doesnât bring a whole lot new to the table (not that I didnât think it would)
Yet her legion of fans stans (who BTW have in the past sent threats of violence/death to people who have publicly disliked her music) come to her defence calling her âa lyrical geniusâ the when a lot of the lyrics in the songs featured are borderline word salad in some cases. It feels like a bandwagon that is way overdue of ending.
The way Taylor Swift is going right now, she could produce or release a bad song yet it could still chart well.
She could release a fart as a âsongâ and it would still sell well!
Probably would sound better than some of the tracks on her latest album.
