I have heard of U2, and I like both them and The Script equally.
Though the latter has frequently stated that Australia is like a second home to them. This will be their thirteenth visit Down Under, including for promo visits (2008-15, 2017, 2018, 2022, 2025 and now next year; though the link did say 12th I’ve counted as far back as 2008 to find the first time they visited our shores).

Herald Sun reports today that a John Farnham tribute concert will be held at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on September 20, featuring a star-studded line up. The event will raise funds for Head and Neck Cancer Australia, which supported Farnham through a two-year battle with the disease.
Farnham also told Herald Sun that he would never sing or perform in public again despite recovering from mouth cancer.

Unfortunately, Stephen Sanchez’s Australia tour which was scheduled for July has been cancelled due to “unforeseen circumstances”.
Quite disappointing given his commercial success in the country and the fact he had sold out most of his shows on his last visit here in April/May 2024.
