Mike Amor named the victims incorrectly when delivering the verdicts. That’s very poor form. It’s been the lead for most of the past 11 weeks (not to mention since the actual murders almost 2 years ago), surely he’d familiarise himself with the names of those involved.

A Sydney presenter for a Victorian story. Umm ok

Yeah. Bit of a “rock up, read the autocue and get paid” kind of attitude hey.

I think he was pretty poor on the coverage I saw of him to be honest. Lots of fumbling, lots of dead air, miss-slips.

They have been doing a big promo push about the coverage and it came out pretty average in my opinion. Sending a Sydney reporter to “anchor” on the ground coverage and pushing the Melbourne reporters to the side, Amors average presenting, and those god damn graphics of mushrooms on the screen that didn’t even align with the suppers

So the network’s chief reporter can only cover a story if it is in Sydney or overseas?

Not at all. Just seems odd considering he has had nothing to do with it until the penultimate day and the existing reporters have been sidelined for the golden boy to come in and take the limelight.

Don’t see him covering many other stories down here. If he was a Chief reporter you’d think he would be in the other states doing feature pieces more often.
