Yeah, Roadshow still handle Warners’ home entertainment here and have done for several years now. Warner Home Video used to have their own arm here for many years, in Pyrmont and later Neutral Bay up until the late 2010s I think. It includes the James Bond films, as Warners handle MGM’s home entertainment these days.

And yeah, at least here, Universal and Sony’s home entertainments operate under the combined USPHE Australasia. They also handle Paramount Australia’s home entertainment including Miramax.

A sign of the times… A pay TV channel in the US showing a full-screen advisory before an old movie re-run (Rush Hour) regarding community standards changes:

Superman cast interviews played on all 3 breakfast shows simultaneously this morning.

Is it because they can’t play the interview until after a certain time or is it because they have become clones of each other and do everything the same way now?

@OnAir did mention recently with the F1 Movie, that it’s possible that the local distributor here (Universal Pictures International) is putting various stipulations on the press junkets.

They’ll be embargoed until a certain date/time and that means they’ll all play them around that time because they’ll assume the others will play them then too.

You would think it would be better for them to stagger the screenings so fans could watch more than one.

The Superman nerds will catch up on YouTube etc, most normal viewers of these shows only need to see one interview on one network

Superman has opened with $8.1 million at the Australian box office.

Worldwide it earned US$217 million.
