i’m currently binge watching season 1 and 2 and i’ve found that season 2 ( the first 2 episodes) doesn’t have as many hocks to keep people interested
Yes, a lot of people felt season 2 was a big let down. I think it was partly due to covid affecting production on the show.
When does the full season drop?
First two eps are available, then it’s weekly.
One a week for 9 weeks?
yup
Do I start watching now or wait for a few eps to bank up?
the first two episodes do start the plotlines well, so it is safe to watch now, but because the faster pacing of the episodes seem to be back, might be worthwhile banking up
what does everyone think of season 3 so far?
Tonight’s episode was great, especially the opener.
Big improvement on the Second Season.
loving it
second last episode this week, how does everyone think the season has been trailing? because I did feel episode 5 did slow things down a bit, but we are now back to a good pace
I’ve been enjoying it so far, as always I’m still not an Alex fan but the other characters are going really well. Cory is the MVP of the season thus far.
i like this season but corey seems to be annoying me a bit. not sure why just a vibe
Corey I just want to punch in the face. Always have and always will. I think it’s the smug smile.
i kinda want Paul Marks to follow through with firing Cory, so he can be snapped back to reality, but knowing him, he might go on an even bigger level of chaos…
that being said Billy Crudup plays Cory so well.
at the same time, I hope Stella doesn’t get screwed over again with Paul, but it looks that way with his plan of selling UBA’s assets
also the IRONY of UBA’s rival networks being called NBN, when I hear it, I just think of our NBN lol
It’s been reported a couple of months ago that Reese Witherspoon might be close to being a billionaire (though she’s shot that down), wide-spread estimates have her at certainly around $500m (even more than Jennifer Aniston) She has in recent years been named Hollywood’s top female earner, one of America’s richest women and one of the world’s most influential personalities. She’s come a long way since indies like “Man In The Moon” (her debut), “A Far Off Place” & “Fear” (either arguably her ‘breakout’), “Freeway”, “Cruel Intentions” (probably her earliest mainstream bar Fear), “Best Laid Plans” and “Election”.
What a stratospheric rise in Hollywood, after perhaps flying under the radar a long time (bar Legally Blonde - which probably still gives her a lot of popularity & various brand royalties and some other notable works since the 90s). I’d say her Academy Award for 2005’s Walk The Line re-launched and cemented her TBH. A lot of her success has also been as a business woman in later years, spearheaded by being a key producing player both at an executive level and actively/creativity on-set, with her companies “Pacific Standard” (with Aussie producer Bruna Papandrea) and now “Hello Sunshine”. Both have seen box office / ratings hits and critically acclaimed movies & shows such as Gone Girl, Wild, Big Little Lies, The Morning Show, last year’s Where The Crawdads Sing and now Daisy Jones and the Six. She also has a fashion line, book club and is an author, as well as social influencer and is involved in many philanthropic activities.
That’s great, but what on earth does any of that having to do about Morning Wars?
Americans are obsessed with how much people are paid and how much they are worth. It’s like the top subject of conversation while most Australians and Brits find that sort of talk obscene.
