10’s new early evening line-up debuted as the network rebranded its on-air presentation and news offerings.
10 News+ debuted in the 6pm timeslot to 291k with a reach figure of just of 769k suggesting how many sampled the product. Following Deal or No Deal was in its new 7pm slot averaging 351k its highest rating of the year.
Those numbers can be compared with the previous Monday that saw The Project on 388k from 6.30pm and Deal Or No Deal on 254k in the 6pm slot.
The 1% Club had a repeat on Seven that did good numbers with 791k to be the top commercial 7.30pm program, though behind ABC’s 7.30. Stranded on Honeymoon Island in the later timeslot had just 294k compared to the second episode that managed 327k. 9-1-1 suffered a big drop in its late timeslot to 216k.
Nine had the premiere of the third season of Parental Guidance with 729k. That was roughly the same as the previous season opener. 100% Footy and Footy Classified shared the 9pm slot with 152k and 160k.
It was also day one of Nine’s Wimbledon coverage – starting on 9Gem with 129k them moving to the main channel at 10pm with 178k, great for 10pm.
MasterChef featured the first top 10 cook and was down slightly to 665k. Have You Been Paying Attention? lifted by 60k to lead its timeslot on 774k that put it just ahead Four Corners and Australian Story. Media Watch did well with 651k. Inspired Unemployed (Impractical) Jokers was on 204k.
Seven News came out on top, leading by 50k after Tipping Point had a 170k win at 5pm. Sunrise earlier maintained a 90k lead over Today at breakfast.
Good numbers for Deal at the new timeslot of 7pm. For Ten News+, did average stuff across the hour, but not bad in reach. Will these numbers continue in months to come?

I presume the reach numbers may drop - could’ve been a few people who weren’t aware that Deal was moving, etc, and may have stuck around for a bit, along with others sampling the new show.
PARENTAL GUIDANCE -MON 503,000
MASTERCHEF AUSTRALIA MON 478,000
STRANDED ON HONEYMOON ISLAND - MON 196,000
Nine News wins by 100,000. That included the bulletin’s second highest Adelaide result of the year and a six-figure result in Perth. Doesn’t look like the Jimmy Barnes interview shifted any viewers.
10’s new look bulletin was loved by Sydney and especially Adelaide with its highest result of the year.
Tipping Points wins all markets.
News Breakfast has a bad set of numbers as Today wins the east coast.

Really need to be able to compare 10News + to the last weeks Deal and first half hour of the project to see the numbers. It will probably be a slow burn for a long time.
Comparing 10s new 90 min line up average of last night with other Mondays (excluding last weeks project bump) its up by 30k on a Monday a month ago, but the following weeks results puts it about 60k lower.
So pretty much in the same ballpark so far.
