The new Perth line-up for Nine was a resounding success. Not only did Tipping Point significantly increase it audience to a season high, it acted as intended and boosted 9News Perth to its highest rating since October last year up 35k on the equivalent day in 2023. Meanwhile 9News at 4pm seemed to hold onto it audience.
Elsewhere, The Chase beat Tipping Point in Melbourne but it didn’t follow through into the 6pm numbers while Tipping Point beat The Chase in Adelaide. Nine News won the three eastern markets and was within 5k of Seven’s 5-city result.
