On a comparatively high rating Monday, Home and Away and then a repeat episode of The 1% Club continued to do well for Seven as the top prime time entertainment shows.
The ABC double 7.30 and Australian Story ranked second in their timeslot ahead of 10’s MasterChef that improved 60k for its second highest rated episode of the season. That placed it ahead of Parental Guidance’s Body Image episode that was down 30k.
Have You Been Paying Attention? then rose to the top with a 90k plus lift on last Monday to be well clear of any competition with 791k. Four Corners (579k) and Media Watch (570k) were next best while a 9-1-1 double episode had 454k and 311k. A split schedule was on Nine with 100% Footy (145k) NRL markets and Footy Classified (141k) in AFL areas
Later, over on SBS, the Tour de France was up to Stage 10 with 182k. Inspired Unemployed (Impractical) Jokers, had 211k with Lucy Worsley Investigates on 250k
At 6pm Seven News was 80k ahead of Nine’s bulletin. That was despite Tipping Point averaging an amazing 961k, its highest rating ever and 50k higher than its previous best. Meanwhile The Chase had its second best result of the year but was 200k behind the competition.
At breakfast Sunrise was down on its usual result again with the margin to Today down to 60k.
Deal or No Deal made the top 30 for 10 with just under 300k, down 20k on the previous Monday. That followed 10News+ that had 183k, down 20k on last week as well.

Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show across Australia with Total People and all key demographics. It was also the No. 1 afternoon game show with Total People in all five metro capitals. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.693 million and a Total TV National Audience of 961,000 (up 16.1% on the same day last year). This marks the highest rating episode of Tipping Point of all time. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 86,000 - up a massive 45.8% year-on-year.
9News was the No. 1 program and No.1 news bulletin with Total People and all key demos across the 5 City Metro. It was also the No. 1 program with Total People in Sydney and Brisbane and with People 25-54 in Adelaide and Perth. The combined national bulletins claimed a National Total TV Reach of 2.280 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.462 million (up 2.0% year-on-year). On 9Now, its BVOD Audience of 146,000 was up 31.5% on the same night last year.
Parental Guidance secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.746 million and a Total TV National Audience of 640,000. Its BVOD Audience of 77,000 was up a huge 54.0% year-on-year.
A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot with Total People across Australia and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 1.717 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.186 million (up 9.5% year-on-year). On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 111,000 - up 29.1% year-on-year.
Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People and all key demos in Sydney and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 823,000, a Total TV National Audience of 316,000 and a BVOD audience of 43,000 - up 10.3% year-on-year.
The 9Network was the No.1 network on Monday across the 5 City Metro with People 25-54 and People 16-39.
9Now was the No.1 CFTA BVOD platform on Monday across Australia with Total People and all key demographics.

I know 10 stepped away from having sporting code programs on their network after they dropped before the game, but they could literally build an AFL or NRL (or even both) equivalent panel program and it would rate significantly higher than 10 news plus. Would be cheap to make as well
The Australian says “less than 100,000 viewers tuning in on average across the country’s critical five-city metro market”, but as usual it seems they got their facts wrong.
Yes, seven seems to having some resent success in Melbourne the last few weeks. I believe they have closed the gap considerably year on year. Not bad for an average lead in.
