This is not a dig at paramount my initial conversation was about peacock and it not being suitable for them because of the cost associated and the fact it’s a different audience. John asked me how it was different to Kayo and paramount.
It different to Kayo because they have other offerings to keep that audience on for 12 months.
It’s different to paramount because they never went for the AFL (so it’s pointless comparing them)

You don’t know that. That is speculation and rumour has it part of the contract with A League was that they wouldn’t bid on any other major sporting rights
