Your idea has some merit, but if WIN moves Gold to the NBN LCNs, WIN could do something like you suggested on GOLD from 7pm til 10:30pm weekdays and repeated from 7am on the next weekday.
NSW, Victoria, Tasmania and Queensland could have different feeds and other states could air a block of Wild Fishing Australia and Alive And Cooking.
Your scheduling works, but I didnt notice the WIN Albury bulletin anywhere. Is it included in one of the other bulletins? If not I would include in the Victorian feed. Also does Darwin have a local bulletin?
I would not put any WIN “GOLD” content on these channels. I’d basically mirror the FAST and VAST channels - the intention would be to consolidate the channels on VAST too.
I didn’t know if WIN did a Albury bulletin, it wasn’t on any of the channel lists for VAST. Darwin has no local bulletin but I hope WIN reinstates one. I did that with mine in the hope they they do.
If you really wanted to, you could put the metro news on as a simulcast at 6pm, and add them to the loop, but to be honest, I’d keep these as purely regional channels.
I am not saying that, I am saying on WIN Gold, not VAST/FAST channels, the local news could be a way of WIN airing local news at an alternate time to the ridiculous 5:30pm time without interfering with other multichannel scheduling. Perhaps what I was saying wasnt 100% clear, I thought mentioning WIN Gold to NBN LCNs would have been enough to provide clarity in what I was saying.
Following on from the discussions of metro bulletins on VAST…I could adjust the news proposal if you had to add metro bulletins (not that I would), add a 10 News Channel and get rid of the regional news updates channel.

I’m confused. You said it’s a “companion” to the 10pm bulletin (there isn’t one? It’s usually more like 9:30pm) but then go onto to say it airs directly after the 5pm news?
Also, I’m not convinced this is your work either.
Another thing is that Sandra and Lee Lin. Comedy? Interesting hosting choices for a comedy program.
Lastly, it’s not even a mock schedule. More like a mock, new show.
The mock could be confused as to where it might screen.
I am surprised a The Panel style show hasnt been proposed or a sports chat show. I think 10 needs to look at something beyond news because its been said that people go to either 7 or 9 for news, not 10
10 could do “The Panel meets Sports Tonight” on Wednesday nights. Talk about the AFL and NRL games ahead, that start on Thursday night onwards. And actually promote Soccer and the A-League. And go against The Front Bar on Seven.
Three nights a row of panel shows for consistency. HYBPA on Mondays, Cheap Seats on Tuesdays, and The Panel Sports on Wednesdays. All airing at 8.30-ish after reality shows.
