Last time a show rated 11.5 or higher was S1 this year, Christian rated 11.9
Unless you mean when did a show rate 11.5 specifically, in which case it was Christian in S7 last year (rated 11.5 vs The Fox on 11.0)

There is also Curtin Radio, a metro-wide community FM station, which would attract quite a lot of its older audience with its easy listening format. The âOther AM/FMâ share in the 65+ in Perth is at an astounding 25%.
Here is the link to their playlist:

When you have an AM music station [4BH] in that type of position in the ratings surely they realise 4MMM and 97.3 are missing the mark.
Itâs worth noting that 4BHâs share this survey (11.6) is higher than what 4KQ achieved in its final few years, in which its highest was 11.3 in S7/2021.
Is 11.9 the highest for FM breakfast ever?
station is now sitting back where they were pre-LG&M/classic hits hybrid format.
Itâs rating far worse. Neil Breenâs final survey was 7.5% and the overall share close to that.
The comments right at the bottom of the Radio Today ratings page are funny but spot on
Interesting how now former Mediaspy Sydney City TV now comments on Radio Today. Didnât realise this member had left Mediaspy.
Edited to add: @OnAir, honestly no idea. I donât follow the theatrics and door slamming. Rarely browse beyond this radio/print/online sub forum as I find the smartest brains and most respectful discourse is here.

Really, cos he made a hell of a lot of noise about it.
time Lachlan stepped in and demand 97.3 in Brisbane flip to Smooth 97.3 and be No. 1 in all three eastern capitals. He does own 50%.
What ARN have done / might do with 97.3 means the only way is down for them unless common sense prevails.
The JV is not performing as well as it could persisting with the Sydney Kiis format on 973.
Iâm glad @Brianc68 has mentioned this again as it is the right course of action.
The only talent cost for Smooth Brisbane is Nick Michaels. Excellent music announcer, proven he handles their breakfast requirements well.
Worthwhile at whatever his remuneration and far cheaper than Robin, Kip, a footballer and requisite production team.
All the programming and music scheduling from Sydney Smooth. Far better profit margin.
If 973 was to rekindle a 2024 version of its most successful music programming years, pre networking in drive, nights and weekends, it would be successful as the artists would have quite a crossover with what Smooth does now.
That was the original intention of the JV, ARN have a presence with their AC format and share with DMG/Nova. 973 as Kiis is no longer AC, Smooth exists as known and proven format. The world moves on, life changes and so should the JV evolve.
How long can the egos of ARN hold the upper hand over the JV with Nova?
Is 11.9 the highest for FM breakfast ever?
Christian also reached a 12.2 in S6 2023
Highest that I could find since Nova 100 launched was when The Fox reached a 15.0 share in 2008 with Matt & Jo. They had an incredible run from 2008 through until when the show finished up in 2013.
4BC need to bring back Neil Breen.
Other AM/FM stations are in 5 th place in the ratings, obviously that must include The Breeze.
The Kyle & Jackie O Show is a great show, Duncan Campbell insists. A great, strong show ⌠which lost its way. âWe just have to get Melbourne falling
Est. reading time: 4 minutes
He needs to be shown the door. A complete clown.
I thought he almost has been⌠now only a consultant for K&J rather than in a full time capacity.
Duncan Campbell: "We just have to get Melbourne falling in love with Kyle & Jackie O"
What is this guy on? Seriously can I get some!
Speaking of trying the Smooth format - how far does SAFM have to fall before they give that a shot? That would have to be more of a concern than even 97.3.
Good result again for Nova - but say youâre wildly optimistic about Kyle and Jackie O in Melbourne - surely if anything it proves that you could have an amazing show, but being on 101.1 holds you back significantly. These are consistent gains not a one off bump from the switch happening - it has to mean people are giving them a shot on Nova, but clearly never sample KIIS.
So even if Duncan is perfectly correct - a big share of Melbourne listeners just wonât listen to a show, even if it turns out clearly they would have liked it, if itâs on KIIS. And thatâs an even tougher thing to overcome than the fact Melbourne listeners clearly donât like Kyle.
Being able to transplant the show to Nova, pretty much unchanged and be top of the FM ratings within a year, beating out the all powerful Fox in the process, shows they had a great product, and couldnât get people to listen.

I think theyâll give Bernie and Emma G some time first at Breakfast, they might wait and see what happens with Mix breakfast as Ali Clarke has left.
How this guy still has a job is beyond me.
âWe just have to get Melbourne falling in love with them, thatâs all,â
Good luck with that, given Melbourne seems to have already made its mind up.
It makes me physically ill knowing that this clown is still there and a good person like Mike Byrne isnât.
Absolutely disgraceful.
Highest that I could find since Nova 100 launched was when The Fox reached a 15.0 share in 2008 with Matt & Jo.
And prior to Novaâs launch, Fox AVERAGED a 16.8 in Breakfast in 2001.
