Metro Radio Ratings - Survey 1, 2024

As I said in my last post, Nova may be only looking at expanding Nova Nation into the Syd and Mel markets.

Also, you have to look at numbers from a total perspective, not just in one market. 102,000 cume is a great result for Nova Nation for their first survey.

Not one word about Sydney’s disaster.

I have found myself listening to Nova Nation when I need a bit of Dancy type music when I am driving around Brisbane when I am in those parts and 4BH or MMM Classic Rock when I want to hear some classica

Did anybody proofread that Mediaweek article before publishing? Triple J breakfast with Bruce (sic) and Concetta. Stating the ABC combined share in Sydney under the Perth banner. Makes me want to go away and double-check those figures - they might be wrong too.

Also it says combined share for ABC Sydney under ABC Adelaide (although I think the data may be right for Adelaide).

Obviously someone copied and pasted the headings, and changed the data, but didn’t check before publishing.

Jacqueline Felgate may not be pulling in the ratings, but she’s certainly attracting a different crowd. Tuned-in for a segment just before and we already had “fu*k” slip through on-air (with a cut-off and apology - but kept her on as she was the segment guest on the phone and didn’t realise about the radio regulations) and then “I know better sex than Carrie Bradshaw” :flushed: Discussing an unruly Jetstar passenger incident earlier today bound for Bali and the workforce, respectively. Also all callers I heard sounded younger vs Tom Elliott’s heavily 40+ audiences. You could also say matching their respective age groups too perhaps.
