Herald Sun reports Seven Sport presenter Abbey Gelmi has reverted to her maiden name after splitting from husband and Sky Racing reporter Ben Way earlier this year. They married in November 2019.

He kicked 1624 goals in 16 seasons in country football, topping 100 goals in a season on 13 occasions, the first as an 18-year-old in 1968 with Golden Square.
Best booted 10 goals or more 48 times, his best haul was 16 against Kyneton in 1969 and he finished the 1980 season with 161 goals.
He met his future wife, then Liberal upper house MP Louise Asher, when she was first elected in 1992 and the pair married in Melbourne’s parliamentary gardens in 2001.

Way back Paul Murphy did a weekly comical version on This Sporting Life with Roy and HG on Triple J of the 6:55pm regional news that used to be broadcast on ABC television. It was “The South Coast News” and featured typical Roy and HG invented news stories.
