I think this will be a definite given. Not just a prolonged first or last shot during the ‘in memoriam’, but maybe even a special segment and a few speeches too, possibly even off the top of the show ‘a few days ago, the world received the shock news that our dear Gene Hackman passed away’ and go from there.
It’s kind of freaky timing, almost fitting in a way.

TVT reporting Nine have amended their programming on 9Gem the next few nights and will air some modern Hackman classics in tribute: The Birdcage (MGM), Get Shorty (MGM) and Crimson Tide (Disney). Nice to see this still happen.
All other networks, rights availability depending, might air something of his too.

Bachelorette couple Georgia Love and Lee Elliott have separated after nine years together.
In a statement shared to Instagram on Friday, 35-year-old Georgia said, “After nine wonderful years together, including four as husband and wife, Lee and l have made the incredibly difficult decision to lovingly part ways.”
