This one kind of hits hard. Consuming Passions was one of my favourite shows to watch as a child when it was used as a regular schedule gap filler on the ABC. In a striking coincidence, I actually had rediscovered his YouTube channel about a fortnight ago and left a YouTube playlist of all his videos on repeat purely because the show serves as the perfect sort of thing to have on in the background.
I seem to remember my local medical centre (this would have beenâŠohâŠ2001 onwards) having some sort of medical infotainment program on VHS playing on endless loop. I presume that was because of the program being supported by the Heart Foundation?
