Matches, Hatches, Dispatches

One of my favourite exchanges from Adam West in Family Guy.

Dammit Swanson, I want them found

Mayor West we have every available man looking for the Griffins but we don’t have any leads.

Not the Griffins you moron, the rest of my light bright pieces. My name isn’t Adam We…

Or is it? Who am I? What number did you dial? Don’t ever call here again.

I guess I told him, nobody messes with Adam We

Really loved the self awareness Batman had, that show was ahead of it’s time.

Love Family guy, but didn’t give a shit about Batman original series, so only heard of Adam West through this. Very sad. So in the last 7 months Family guy lost Carrie Fisher and Adam West. Looks like the mayor will be written out.

Not often seen in a bulletin’s headlines.

As well as the previously mentioned Simpsons cameo and being the Mayor on Family Guy, I also remember Adam West playing a character based on himself (“TV’s Adam West”) in the rather quirky but fairly well written Nickelodeon cartoon that was The Fairly Odd Parents.

RIP Adam West. :slight_frown:

Blasphemy! How very dare you. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Maybe the new mayor could be Burt Ward. I know that probably means nothing to you, so google it. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

OK I’ll help you out.

Actually that probably wouldn’t be such a bad move for Family Guy. If they got Burt ward to do that role , like another corrupt mayor. Yeah just what Quahog needs. :stuck_out_tongue:

:joy:

I have happy memories watching Batman with my brothers during my childhood. RIP Adam
