RIP Angela Lansbury. Murder She Wrote was so popular in the day that there was a time it was showing in the same timeslot (8.30pm Thursday) on two networks, Nine and Ten. My memory isn’t great but IIRC, Ten had snatched first run rights but Nine still had some older episodes in its inventory as re-runs.

Peter “Monster” Kogoy, a sports journalist who worked for The Sun in Sydney and The Australian, died last Friday (October 14) aged 70. He was also closely involved with the Clontarf Foundation, and was the founding chairman of the Kennedy Foundation, a journalism awards body that he helped set up in memory of former colleague Les Kennedy.

These are just two of the tributes from fellow journalists.
