Hoges and Strop got away with a lot stuff that probably wouldn’t be allowed on television today. But at the time, it was very funny.
I didn’t know that he was a reporter on A Current Affair.

Actor Dieter Brummer, best known for playing the character Troy Miller in Neighbours (the violent ex-partner of Sonya and father of Callum), has passed away aged 45.
Wasn’t he in Home and Away as well?
He was best remembered for his role of Shane Parrish in Home and Away.
Neighbours has paid a small tribute on social media.

Yeah, He would be way more known for his time on H&A in the 90s than he 2 guest stints in Neighbours which I would guess a lot of people wouldn’t be aware he did.

Also, the Neighbours tweet got that wrong. His first stint on Neighbours was in 2011 when he was first introduced as Callum’s biological father. He then returned the following year.
It hasn’t been a great few years for Home and Away, losing former stars Cornelia Frances, Ben Unwin and now Dieter Brummer, as well as guest cast member Jessica Falkholt who passed away in horrific circumstances. RIP to all.
