Andy was also absent from tonight’s elimination episode. It was Jean-Christophe who revealed to the contestants that Andy’s wife Alex was having her first child.
Alex gave birth to a boy named Jude on April 13.

I was genuinely surprised that Annabell left last night. Early on I was getting worried for Petro but then that seemed to shift to Casper in the editing. So I thought it would be between the two of them. She seemed to be doing really well and just stumbled with the multi-tasking of the dishes in the end.
So we have an all-male final 4. I love that all the contestants were back for Meghan’s appearance.

Annabel has given a couple of interviews following her exit. Turns out she grew up in Canberra but now works as a nurse at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney (she said in last night’s episode that she would return to her day job after the elimination, but also wanted to become a chef).

I’m guessing the winner was Petro or Vinnie ,or maybe Aaron,Casper is the weakest of the remaining cooks so I don’t think he won

Disappointing there would be no contestant reunion and no contestants v chefs for this season.
Just as I predicted back on June 2. The contestant reunion would have put this season at 60 episodes, same as last season.
Sunday 2 August is
Today’s challenge is a MasterChef classic. First the tables are turned and the judges cook off head-to-head, before teaming up to take on the Top 3 contestants, with bragging rights on the line.
I am not sure this is correct. There is an episode on 9 August so there at least an episode 60

So that means Monday August 3 is the MasterChef semi-final, and Sunday August 9 is the grand final, up against the guest bedroom reveal of The Block (the first room reveal of the new season).
The sentence “We’ve had MasterChef royalty in the kitchen before…” was omitted in the final version broadcast tonight.
Meghan also gave out 30 minutes time call to each remaining contestant, which was nice.
During tasting of Aaron’s dish, Meghan did a FaceTime call with Prince Harry, who was at the new section of the Australian War Memorial in Canberra. The Duchess introduced the three judges and the contestants to her husband.
Earlier, a BTS video was posted on Instagram.

Meghan spoke to Harry on the phone (via facetime). And there was some “behind the scenes” visible during the call, which was good to see. Not often we see the camera crew and the lighting on the show all that often.

It’ll be interesting how the ratings goes for this episode
A season high? I feel people who hate will watch to see how Meghan ‘performs’ if that’s the right word, and people who like them will also probably tune in. So could get a season high to date. I doubt people will boycott since even haters will watch to find something to hate on
You’d reckon Meghan is faking in this episode. Because after all she is an actress
