I think Jock and Andy more than like host/judge junior masterchef.
Surely Jock and Andy would be fine as hosts for junior as well as the adult versions.
I have to say I’m not the biggest fan of Curtis Stone and Miguel, as much as he is a great person, risks being over-exposed by 10.
I hope that Junior MasterChef is only going to be a short term thing for 2-3 weeks. Otherwise could be overkill and damage the brand again like it did last time.

I agree - hoping for short run, much like Lego Masters otherwise it will just drag and do damage to the flagship show.
All 3 hosts would’ve been great for Junior MC as well, but I like that they will differentiate the hosting panel for the spin off.

They are already risking damaging it with this season by dragging it out further with the shorter weeks. At this point the show is usually sped up but the pace now is moving so slowly.

New Idea claims Jock and Andy will be part of Junior MasterChef.
I think any new co-host of Junior MasterChef will need to have a good knowledge of food and popular with kids. Alice Zaslavsky will have been a good choice but she is food expert on ABC News Breakfast.
Alice Zaslavsky hosted Kitchen Wiz on Nine
so she will be very good choice for hosting junior master chef. She was also part of Andy Aliens season (Season 4) on master chef
I would make it
(1) Andy Alien
(2) Alice Zaslavsky
(3) Melissa Leong
It wasn’t one of Reynold’s best deserts ,I’m shocked that Tessa was eliminated instead of him ,the judges were too hard on Tessa

Melissa and Andy would be great with kids. Jock is great but some kids might perceive him as the ‘scary’ judge. Plus apparently he doesn’t want to spend more time away from his family in Adelaide so it may be likely that he won’t participate in the junior season.
How about someone like Justine Schofield joining Andy and Melissa? Well-known, warm and most importantly has a great personality which will resonate well with kids.

Two seasons is a bit surprising. Having the spinoffs the first time around led to the decline in ratings for the main show. I really had hoped 10 would only air this as a one off.
I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw Poh as one of the judges. I know someone who worked with her and she had mentioned she really wanted to be a judge on a cooking competition.
I doubt Jock will be part of it. He really wants to get back to Adelaide to be with his family.

In all seriousness, Poh would’ve been a great judge for Junior Masterchef. I wouldn’t even mind her, Melissa and Andy as a trio.

Good on Jock calling out this slur. Seems some people are still bitter about 10 dumping Gary, George and Matt and having a female, Asian food critic among the replacements.

I feel now with MC, it’s more enjoyable to watch. The new judges seem to make the show more appealing, from their attitudes and to how they mentor the contestants.

Chris Badenoch said Andy’s feedback was just “a collection of words that make no sense”.
He’s commented on things that I’ve cooked and when he’s walked away it’s like, ‘I have no idea what he said or what he meant.’ You almost need subtitles. I don’t get it!
Chris just sounds like a sore loser TBH. And why is a contestant who was eliminated months ago being interviewed now?
