Staying at a hotel for work, western Victoria. They have all the FTA regional channels but clearly piped through an internal system and everything looks so compressed, even analog looking, even HD channels look shit. It may even be an analog system piping through all the channels.
Staying in a hotel in Sydney.
The TV system in house is all fed through a box which is connected to the HDMI port which is tucked in between the TV and the wall.
When we first arrived and turned the TV on, it comes up to a welcome screen with my name on it and we had to click Okay to continue.
Nothing happened, so we couldn’t use the TV at all.
Maintenance came and fixed it. Turns out the little receiver cable to the HDMI box had failed.
The guy plugged a new cable in and stuck it on the wall just below the TV. So it’s all working now.
Anyway, there’s no EPG, and the LCNs are all customised. This is what i’ve got:
Sydney Hilton update… looks like it’s had a refresh as well, but functionality is still the same as I remember it… still no full EPG, can be slow to load still… no FOXTEL channels either
Weirdly, 10 is the only one whose HD channel appears on the primary LCN number.
10Bold still on 1, but at least 10Shake is there.
Old GO and Gem logos there.
Chinese CCTV channels as well.
