Just cancel it. It’s done worse things to the idea of marriage than same sex marriage ever did.

The next season is supposed to commence filming in July, if we went by past seasons. So I reckon Nine will need to make a decision on the show pretty soon.

A decision on whether to bring back MAFS for 2027. The renewal was announced at last year’s upfronts, but I think Nine will have second thoughts due to recent scandals that hit both Australian and UK versions.
There is no plan to end the show in Australia. The speculation that it might end is only happening here.

The bigger the scandal, the “better” it is for Nine. They love this type of hype for this show. And the ratings.

I watched the first two seasons of Married at First on 9now, and i have to say that was a great watch. Just in and out, no bullshit drivals or narations to lead you to certain conclusions, and just things fell into place naturally. But then it went down hill from there

This was never even a question. There are no scandals that have hit the Australian version that would be reason for it not to continue. The media have been trying to pull things out of former contestants based on what happened in the UK. There is nothing that that even comes close to what happened in the UK.
And in saying that, the season has commenced filming. The first wedding is being filmed right now (saw a video online of the bride).
They could have legal cases galore, the thing is a revenue powerhouse for the network, it’s going nowhere.
If it was on the ABC then sure it would be canceled.
